This template helps you build a basic WhatsApp chatbot that functions as a Sales Agent. It is connected to a product catalog vector store, allowing it to answer user questions more effectively. This template is designed as an introduction for users interested in building solutions with WhatsApp.

How It Works
This template functions in two main stages: first, it creates the product catalog vector store, and second, it builds the WhatsApp AI chatbot.
A product brochure is imported using an HTTP request node, and all its text content is extracted.
This extracted text is then loaded into the in-memory vector store, which acts as the chatbot’s knowledgebase.
A WhatsApp trigger is used to listen for incoming messages from customers. Any non-text messages are automatically filtered out.
The customer’s text message is sent to the AI Agent. The Agent then uses its vector store tool to query the product catalog for the most relevant answer.
Finally, the AI Agent’s response is sent back to the user via the WhatsApp node.
How to Use
Before you begin, make sure you have already set up and configured your WhatsApp account and credentials.
Populate the Knowledgebase: First, you need to load your product data. Click the “Test Workflow” button to populate the vector store.
Activate the Chatbot: After the vector store is ready, activate the workflow. This will turn on the WhatsApp chatbot and make it ready to receive messages.
Test the Connection: Send a message to your designated WhatsApp number. You should get a response from the AI sales agent.
Customize: You can tweak the data source (e.g., add new products) and adjust the agent’s behavior as required.
