How It Works
This template functions in two main stages: first, it receives and validates the user’s email, and second, it routes the user into success or retry flows.
- The conversation begins with a welcome message requesting the user’s email.
- A user input node captures the email and checks it against the validation condition.
- If the email is valid, the user is sent to a success confirmation message and then to an end node.
- If the email is invalid, the flow sends them to a failed message and asks them to try again until a valid email is provided.
- Once correct, the flow moves to the success and end message.
How to Use
Before you begin, make sure you have configured your chatbot workspace and email validation logic.
- Start the Flow: Begin with the entry node and set your welcome message.
- Add Email Capture: Use a wait-for-user-input step to collect the email.
- Apply Conditions: Add logic to detect valid or invalid email format.
- Test the Flow: Run the conversation and verify both success and failure paths.
